Baked Apple Surprise
Poison? Rotten bits? You’ll find none of that inside. Instead of a trick, it’s a treat! A delicious surprise.


tasty recipe for baked apples

Per apple…
2 Tablespoons rolled oats
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon brown sugar
optional mix-ins: raisins, nuts, dried fruit, pinch cinnamon

this baked apple surprise is a tasty fall treat

1. Slice the top off the apple.
2. Use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out the core.
3. Mix together oats, butter and brown sugar (and any additional mix-ins) in a small bowl.
4. Place inside the hollowed out part of the apple.
5. Bake apples at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Serve warm. Top with vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat.
