And Now the News…

The Friday the 13th Edition

by , posted on May 13th, 2011 in News

The calendar says it’s Friday the 13th. I feel as if I should work this into the news today somehow. But my mind is a little all over the place. I’ve just spent 45 minutes trying to think of a something to say about it and still, nadda.

But maybe that’s the power of Friday the 13th? It’s not so much about scary movies, as it is about messing with your mind. I’m pretty sure it’s the 13th that causes one to do things like: forget to pack a drink in their kids’ lunches, find an order that was supposed to be mailed out on Monday under a stack of school papers that required signatures (and yet still aren’t signed), run over to his/her neighbors house to steal wifi because her internet went down and he/she had an article due to an editor at 4:00 and it’s 3:58. You know, things like that.

But then again, maybe all those things happened on Thursday the 12th…

So happy Friday everyone! Let’s enter the weekend with a little cheer, shall we?
