Don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve taken a bit of a break from Friday posts. But today, spring is in the air and I’m trying to push through a slump. So I thought a list of happy things was called for. In no particular order, here are some things that are making me smile…

Urban Jungle Bloggers – I love looking through this community’s photos of happy small space gardens. From a sill to small patio, they make the most out of their space in totally fun ways. I mean, just check out these images! I challenge you not to smile or at least sigh wistfully.

Mini Mariachi Pinatas – So cute, I die.

Snapshots from Morocco – Still wanting to see it in person one day. For now, these photos make me happy.

Slinky Photo Books – Sometimes I wish I could get married again just so I could have something like this made.

Ron Mueck – Dave had a chance to see this artist’s hyper realistic sculptures this week while he was in Rio. He sent me a photo. Incredible.

Wayne White exhibit in York, PA – We took the kids last weekend to see the show and it. was. amazing. If you’re within driving distance, it’s worth the trip.

Beautiful Ruins – I may be a bit late to the party, but have you read this book yet? Soooo good! I couldn’t put it down.

When Dave blogs – I love to see his perspective on things. He’s shared images from our time in Istanbul. So far, he’s published two posts – one on fishermen and one on the beautiful Mosques. I think he has 2 or 3 more planned. I can’t wait to read them.

What’s making you happy right now?

ps. I’ve noticed that not all the posts are showing up on feedly or bloglovin. If you read CP in a reader, you may have missed this recent movie post that I thought was really fun and this guest post that I found extremely thoughtful. Check them out :)

It’s a lovely spot for inspiration, isn’t it? It makes me want to get some flowers in my little container garden stat! :)

I felt just like that. Like I just want to grab my little shovel and start going crazy planting things. If you start your garden area, I would love to see or hear about your planting.
