Friday Link Love

by , posted on August 19th, 2011 in News

I was working on a big post for you today about our daytrip to Ocracoke Island. It’s only half way done. And now I’m kind of fried. It’s kind of been one of those weeks where I feel pulled in a million different directions.

How has your week been?

And now the news….

This had me grinning from ear to ear

Photos of an evening spent on the pier

Our next science experiment

Well now, this site is definitely getting bookmarked

Have we stopped dreaming?

And in business news…

Are you a fan of Ellie Bellie Kids? If so, you probably saw we launched our Paper Robot project. We sent paper Robots to Canada, Australia, Belgium, Ireland, and across the USA for kids to show them around. We’ve asked the kids to upload photos of their adventures. When they do, we’re sending them their very own Intergalactic Peace Prize Medals. Should be fun!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Yep, I know the feeling well. I’ve had one of those weeks too. Sounds like you may need to wear some of those wonder woman underoos. I know I do! My brother & I used to wear those & had all sort of super hero adventures in them. I loved Chantales robot post – so great… Also, that idea for you paper robot project is fantastic!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. :)

my week has been completely insane. house renovation and i didn’t expect the disruption to be, so disruptive. to my core. ugh.

and why don’t contractors tell you when they finish everything will be ugly and it’s the painters who do the real (pretty) work?

so i’m living in an ugly construction site for the next few days and trying not to lose my marbles. boo.

    so yeah, i’m fried too.

    aren’t you glad you asked?

ps: love, love, love the robots plan!

Ha! I AM glad I asked!

I feel for you. When I was pregnant with my youngest, we had our kitchen remolded. I said, there’s no way I’m going to have two kids and no dishwasher.

It eventually turned out beautifully, but the mess and disruption was incredible. I really hated having people in my house all. the. time.

I hope the weekend has been far kinder to you than the week and offered you a chance to recharge!

Doh! I’m such a dunce. REMOLDED! While I’m sure that would have been, er, interesting, I meant remodeled.
