I’m beyond excited to announce I’ve joined the Goldfish Smiles team to produce ideas for you and your family to connect through play.
For the next couple months, I’ll bring you ideas for using laughter to help ease kids’ lunchroom anxieties, preparing for summer, and more. And I’m not alone. Goldfish has put together an incredible line up of contributors. Ever since they asked me to come on board, I’ve pretty much been in a dream like state of pinch-me-I-can’t-believe-I’m-writing-with-these-amazing-people. It’s surreal!
I’d really love for you to check it out. If you’re like me, I have no doubt you’ll love what they put together! Let’s get to it…
In my first piece, I discuss my failed attempts at a British accent, a wash-cloth with a Downton Abbey complex and playfulness my kids will always remember.
“The other night, my son told me he missed Mrs. Piggy. ‘The muppet?’ I asked. ‘No, the washcloth that used to talk funny,’ he said. It was silly, but based on [him] recalling a character I made up years back with great clarity, I know it meant something to the kids.”
*I have been compensated by Pepperidge Farms for my contributions to the Goldfish Smiles site.
