Around the world today, several countries are celebrating Children’s Day. It’s a whole day dedicated to celebrating children’s happiness. Fun, yes?
While we don’t observe it here in the USA—what’s up with that USA?—I thought about the loveliness of such a holiday. So today, in celebration of Children’s Day, let’s begin the link round up with play.
Have you seen GoGo squeeZ’s Pass the Play campaign?
Tweet #passtheplay to @GoGosqueeZ and $1 will be donated to @FreshAirFund with the goal of raising $25,000, providing more inner-city boys and girls to participate in programs that can change the course of a child’s life. Visit the Fresh Air Fund site for more information about their work.
You can also visit GoGo squeeZ at the “Pass the Play” mobile playground, which is visiting 10 cities across the country. Visit www.PassthePlay.com for stops.
Have you checked out the Kin Community videos? I heard Robert Mahar joined the team. LOVE HIM!
There’s so much goodness in this blog, I don’t know where to begin.

Storytelling in the Age of Screens
Thanks to everyone who took my writing/voice class last night. Here’s a little nugget for you—advice from a favorite author. For the rest of you, I’m teaching again Saturday, June 23 at 9 pm EST. That’s right! Saturday night. I think this may call for a little disco ball action. You’ve been warned.
Now go out there and have a great weekend!
