A silly little photo Dave found after getting some rolls of film developed. We call it the "rabbit ears" phase.
Can you believe this weekend marks the end of June? It blows my mind. But am I melancholy? Nah, because truth be told, I’m pretty excited about July.
Next month I’m going to introduce you to a new contributor and a new column that I am beyond excited about. It’s something I’ve written about in the past, even dedicated an issue to it. Oh the places we’ll go…
And in other big news, we have a sponsor joining us for July! Sponsors help us support our contributors and allow us to provide fresh original content. Content, of which, I am incredibly proud. Can you tell I have a lot of pride in our work and team here?
That being said, perhaps it’s a good time to say a quick word about sponsors: I have no desire to work with companies that don’t support the Classic Play ethos. I respect you far too much for that. So if you see it here, know I believe in what the company is doing.
And now the links…
If you read only one thing on this list today, read this. Thank you Uncle Beefy for saying what I needed to hear.

Joya Logue has launched a gorgeous new site called Rajovilla. What Joya says about the name:
Rajovilla is the name of my father’s family home in India. It is an old, architecturally rich home that has housed generations. My visits there enveloped pockets of time in my childhood where my parents, three sisters and I were all together from dawn to dusk. This is where we renewed our relationships with grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles that we would see once a year, and where we also rekindled our connection to each other. Togetherness is my first memory of that family home. We even all slept in the same large room, side by side in our beds.
…Within the pages of Rajovilla, I plan to share the pockets of time in my family’s life where we awaken all of our senses to the beauty and creativity of meals, art and life together in our home.
It’s absolutely beautiful. Run, do not walk, to check it out.
Have a marvelous weekend Everyone!
