The family that wears stripes together...

I hope you have some great plans for this weekend!

Dave and I just finished a photoshoot for the small toy company I have with my mom and sister. We’re getting ready to launch a whole new site next week so we’ll be working on it a bit this weekend. I’m also gearing up for my first magazine shoot on Tuesday. I’m putting together a children’s table for a fantastic regional bridal magazine.

For research, I broke out my old Martha weddings magazines. One of which went back to 1998.

Yes, I have hoarder tendencies. Don’t judge me.

I’m a little sad this was a student project. I’d buy one for some of our long road trips.

Jordan is incredibly kind to share her experience. I’m pretty sure this is why people love her. That and she can create a banana split sundae the size of a football field.

These are pretty cool!

    A family who wears stripes is a happy family. I’m pretty sure it’s scientifically proven.

    I also have a stack of old Martha Stewart magazines that date back to ’97. And I look at them all regularly. They’re the best.

    I love that you saved your MS Mags too! I could never make anything in them that turned out as good as it looked in the magazine, but oh how I tried.

    Ahhhh!!! I love it! Stripes and a gorgeously-fun and creative family? What could be better?! Super cute masks too!!! I love those!!

    Okay so #1: I can’t WAIT to see your work in the magazine! I KNOW it will be amazing, channeling your inner Martha and all. p.s. I am from a family of hoarders so I can totally relate! And I actually think Martha was at her best in the 90′s.

    #2 Merilee is probably one of my FAVORITE people online. Have I met her? No. Do I stalk her site sometimes daily? Yes. Does that sound creepy? Maybe. Okay, so all jokes aside, she is such an inspiration. And I love that she’s teamed up with Handmade Charlotte recently and now Gap! See? Women online are incredible!
