Can you believe valentine’s day is next week?

Well happy Friday! Is it me or did this week fly by? I have a bunch of news for you in the coming weeks but for now, a bit o’ catching up.

First, our doggie did not need surgery. Hooray! She will have to be kept immobilized as much as possible for 7 weeks however. This makes both of us sad. She’s an active girl. Also, we’re almost done with the repairs from the hurricane. “But Jen, that was like 5 months ago!” Sigh. Tell me about it.

And the biggest news of all, our very own Lindsay Dewald gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! So thrilled for her and her husband. You can hop on over and wish them well. So sweet!

Any weekend plans? We’re having dinner with friends. The hosts are engaged and don’t have children so they sent over a menu to make sure there was something on it our kids would eat. How sweet is that?! They’re good guys I tell ya. We’re going to talk wedding planning for sure (I’ll make ‘em, ha!). Plus, they want Dave to photograph it. YAY!

I hope you have a great weekend! Now the links…

Has your child done any of the art projects seen here on Classic Play? Deborah and I would love to see them! We have a little something planned…

My 10-year-old would go crazy for that neon party! Her fave pants are neon green jeans… Love the DIY mailbox, too. Happy weekend!
