Happy Friday!

friday!

I hope you’ve been enjoying Camp Classic Play this week. There’s still one more badge to earn, so keep your eyes out for the final post. And if your kids didn’t get to any of the activities this week, there’s always next. That’s the nice thing about virtual stuff—there’s flexibility.

Have any fun plans for the weekend? We have a few birthday parties and then we’re meeting up with my friends Caroline and Jill and their families. Should be fun! Earlier this week I met Kim for the first time in real life. She is just as smart, charming, and cool as she appears online.

Whatever your plans, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Here are some things that caught my eye this week:

PBS Parents launched a new craft video by Salsa Pie!

Have you made a summer bucket list? It’s not too late

Get kids sewing

Making this

Cute newborn announcement

Nice necklace!

Tour de France explained in animation

Ellie loved this

Great writing prompt for kids

Natural mosquito repellant

One of our kids’ favorite clothing stores is having a big ol’ summer sale

And finally…

Next week (cool) progeny is launch the Little Lion Man challenge. It’s a campaign that simply asks people to do a good deed and share what they did using the hashtag #littlelionchallenge. No prizes. No rewards. Just everyone making the world a little better. Their hope is to get 1000 good deeds tweeted/facebooked/instagramed. It’s inspired by all the kindness Heather and her family received when their Little Lion Man was born with Pierre Robin Syndrome.

We can’t wait to see you guys this weekend! And, Jonah’s moves—he is such a cool dude. LOVE so much the shots and the finish line shots below too!

Also, thanks SO much for the shout-out. You and Dave are the masters at video and are the innovators and influencers of diy/crafts for kids films. I’m blushing that you mentioned my series.
