Make ‘Em Laugh! Teacher Thank You Cards

These kid-made thank you cards for teachers are hilarious! Love them

The end of the school year is upon us and our family likes to thank those that were important people in our children’s lives. This year we decided to make some fun 3D cards to send with a giftcard. These would make great cards for any occasion such as graduations, culminations, anniversaries, you name it! These cards will bring a smile to someone’s face.

You’ll need:
construction paper
a ruler
a pencil and crayons or markers.

To start, take your construction paper and fold it in half. Using the ruler find the middle of the bend and make a mark near the fold. The larger the mark, the bigger the bird beak will be.

Take a scissor and cut the line you made near the fold. Again, the longer the cut, the larger the beak is going to be. Then fold down each side along the cut, making little triangles.

Next, unfold the card and tuck the beak inside as you see in the next photo.

Decorating the face and card comes next. You can create any type of bird you like. Add in some eyes, a head and/or body.

Get creative with the bird puns now! You can throw in a “Owl say, you’re great!” or add some egg humor to the mix. Extra points for originality!

These thank you cards for teachers are punny!
