Blogging can be a bit isolating. It’s still kind of a strange job to have. In fact, when I try to explain what I do to people who don’t read blogs, you can guarantee the cue of crickets chirping. So this summer, I wanted to do something about it.

I started a meet up. You can read all about them here in an interview where I talk about the challenges and offer a few tips for hosting an event of your own. We’ve had two so far and our next one is February 22nd. If you’re in the Baltimore area and would like to be added to the invite list, let me know! The next one is an exclusive event. Oooh! Aaah!

    Since coming back from Alt, I’ve been seriously thinking about planning my own offline event. I saw this interview on Sandra’s blog and it gave me an extra little push! Thank you for your honesty about it all.
