It has been pretty unseasonably warm this year. But that hasn’t stopped my wintery cravings for rich, delicious, soul-warming cocoa. It’s so good. So good, I must share. And that’s what I’m going to do. Because I love you. Below is our favorite recipe. It calls for real chocolate and milk. It’s easy enough, so kids can help mix up a batch.
Ingredients
3 cups milk
3 ounces chocolate
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Chop chocolate. Combine it with the other ingredients in a saucepan over medium low heat. Stir until the chocolate is melted and combined.
Top with marshmallows and swirl with peppermint sticks.
Pair a mug of it with a little of this and you know what you’ve got yourself? Holiday bliss, my friend. Holiday bliss.
