Did you catch Jillian’s post last week on Venice? So cool. Inspired by her trip and gorgeous photos, I created some illustrations and turned them into a classic memory game. I figured that way we could all have a memory of Venice, even if it’s just in game form.

All you need to do to play is print and cut. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself belting out “O sole mio…”

Click here to download the printable pdf. Print just page one if you’d like to save on ink, or, for prettier cards, flip page one over after it prints and print page two on the back. The illustration on page two was inspired by a Venetian tapestry. Fancy!

ps. I’ve been thinking about how to get the most out of the kickin’ cool content we have here on Classic Play. For me, I often think in themes when I’m creating. That’s right, I’m a theme nerd. So I’m going to experiment a bit more with them across columns/activities. Let me know what you think!

I really really like the wallpaper. I want to see it on Thank you cards with your little images in an oval in the middle. Then I’d send you one and say thanks for this and that and the other thing.
