Reading Nook | Ike’s Incredible Ink

Where do writers get their ideas? That’s the question answered by Brianne Farley’s debut book Ike’s Incredible Ink.

Ike desperately wants to write a story but first…the apartment needs a bit of a tidy. Hmmm…maybe a chat with a friend? Where IS that favorite pen?

Ink book review

Anyone who has ever created anything will relate to the procrastination that hits at the beginning of a new project.

Sometimes it’s a little more fun and just a little bit easier to collect brand new journals and organize your pens and markers than actually START a creative project, right?

As you can imagine, a book about “ink” features beautiful ink illustrations that are layered with digital collage texture.

Ike’s Incredible Ink is a lovely book for 4-8 year olds but your artist pals will love it too. It’s an entertaining take on the creative process for all ages.

Really love the idea of giving this book as a gift to my artisty friends.

Also, I may need a copy of my own as I am often the queen of procrastination. ;)
