This post is an introduction to a piece I penned for Goldfish Smiles. It’s an idea for bringing your community together. Having a strong community is essential to loving where you live, don’t you think? I love this idea because it’s not expensive or fussy; just a simple gathering with a sweet summer treat. Enjoy! 

Community is important to me as an individual and as a mother… Part of community development is taking the time to say hello and find out what’s going on. The other, and my most favorite part, is spotting opportunities to bring us together.
