Teacher Gifts | The Winter Break Edition

Enjoy a Hot Cocoa Break
This year’s holiday gift is a mash up of a teacher gift we’ve made before and the monogram mug tutorial on Design Mom. Inside each mug is a bag of homemade marshmallows (thanks for the tutorial Smitten Kitchen!), a brick of Mexican chocolate and two small peppermint sticks.
For this project you’ll need:
White mugs
Paint pen
Hot Cocoa fixings of your choosing

Sketch out what you want to draw on the mug. This is your rough draft.

Use a paint pen to draw your picture directly onto the mug.

Concentrating.

It's him putting a flag on a sandcastle he made for his teacher.
PS. Ask any teacher what his/her favorite gift to receive is and they’ll say: GIFT CARDS! And I can totally get behind that. Since our amazing room parents already organized that gift, YAY!, this is just a little personal gift from the kids themselves.
