SUPPLIES:
Textured Paper (we used Strathmore Textured Sheets in White)
Scissors
Ribbon
Hole Punch
Pencil
Water colors
THE HOW:
1) Trace out desired shape of mask onto textured paper
2) Cut out area for eyes (we extended our area to include the nose too so it would fit flatter against the face)
3) Paint and allow mask to dry
4) Using a small hole punch, punch two holes on either side of the mask. Take two equal lengths of ribbon and affix on either side knotting one end. Tie around child’s head.
(TIP: To keep the mask from slipping, tuck the ribbon behind the child’s ears like glasses)
