Remember Shrinky Dinks? They’re back! All you need is a package of shrinky dink paper (found in most craft stores), permanent markers and scissors and you have yourself a fun-filled afternoon activity with the kids. We made a short video to show you how it’s done.

Shrinky Dinks are so much fun. I used to love making them as a kid.
My kids and I made Shrinky Dink necklaces last year and it was such a great activity. Our oven doesn’t have a glass door so we couldn’t watch the shrinking in action (the best bit) but they were still fun. You can see what we made here: http://www.littlehiccups.net/2012/07/shrinky-dinky-doo.html

Woah, we never made these as kids. So cool! I’m definitely going to get some paper to do this with our niece next time we have a family get together. She’s the only kid, so I’m always looking for activities she’d enjoy to keep her entertained. Thanks for this (the video is gorgeous!).
