Video | Shrinky Dinks!

by , posted on February 21st, 2013 in Arts & Crafts, Kids DIY, video

Remember Shrinky Dinks? They’re back! All you need is a package of shrinky dink paper (found in most craft stores), permanent markers and scissors and you have yourself a fun-filled afternoon activity with the kids. We made a short video to show you how it’s done.

LOVE shrinky dinks! We printed off photos and used those too – it was fun to do with our dogs ;) Love the video!

Shrinky Dinks are so much fun. I used to love making them as a kid.
My kids and I made Shrinky Dink necklaces last year and it was such a great activity. Our oven doesn’t have a glass door so we couldn’t watch the shrinking in action (the best bit) but they were still fun. You can see what we made here:

Woah, we never made these as kids. So cool! I’m definitely going to get some paper to do this with our niece next time we have a family get together. She’s the only kid, so I’m always looking for activities she’d enjoy to keep her entertained. Thanks for this (the video is gorgeous!).

Adorable! And Greta just told me after we watched it that “we are gonna do that for sure”. :) Oh, and cute pants! And I think Ellie stole my green pants. ;)
