I need get something off my chest. This weekend, I found myself going a tad heart crazy. I made heart-shaped loaves of brioche. The boy and I created heart-shaped salt dough charms. And in an amusing exercise in irony, I made heart-shaped sausage patties. Yes, you read that right, heart-shaped sausage patties.

I may need an intervention.

    I BRIEFLY thought of reshaping the hamburgers into heart shapes before the bbq but didn’t. LOVE the heart-shaped sausage patties…yes that might be a bit overboard! Just a little…. heh…

    You thought about it! It makes ridiculously happy to know I’m not alone. I may be wholly impulsive and unable to distinguish good idea from bad idea, *but* someone else out there (and an AWESOME someone at that) almost shaped food into hearts too. That’s good enough for me.
