Weekending

I have so much I want to say about this weekend, today and well everything. But my head is all swirly gearing up for my trip in a couple days.

I will tell you this weekend’s highlights included an impromptu magic show for the kids (they’ve already decided the tricks should, nay, NEED to be a Classic Play feature—stay tuned), couch date night: martinis and Page One, procurement of a 3D doodle kit and the kids offering fashion advice for Alt:

“Well, what about this for the winter wonderland white party?”
“That’s perfect!”
“That’s perfect,” pauses, “but you need some leggings.”

In fairness, the dress is rather short so the kid had a point.

Since I doubt I’ll post on Friday, I thought I’d start the week with a post from the end of the week. Oh yeah, that’s right people! I’m doing it—breaking the rules and going 88 mph. So without further ado, here are some links I loved FROM THE FUTURE!:

    I just read about it! lol. Love the cover. I’ve got a whole wish list of ppl I want to pick their brains and snoop on their lives. lol. How about you? I’ve got 1 kid and I’m falling to pcs sometimes on how to do it all. You have 2. And a company. Plus a blog. It boggles my mind.

    I think everyone falls to pieces. Some of us are just better at shoving those bits under the rug. But I will say, I really wish I did SO MUCH MORE with the company than I do. I have a mega awesome plan for 2012 but it requires funding. So I should be spending my time looking for funding, but alas, I am not. So basically I do it all by not doing it all.

    And as far as the kids go, well, that takes a village. I don’t know what I’d do without my little tight knit community. Also, it helps that I don’t have to get dressed until the bus comes at 3:30 in the afternoon. ; )

    I don’t know how anyone with little kids does it. I mean I did, but it was all a blur.
